Overview of Activity
We evaluated the DDoS attack countermeasure functions implemented in DNS software and the collaboration among DNS operation organizations using communication tools in the event of an attack, and provided feedback to DNS software vendors based on the experimental results.

Overview of Activity
Assuming a situation in which a DDoS attack targeting the authoritative DNS server of a TLD caused the server to lose its reachability, we verified whether the arrangement of local nodes, which was effective in a physical disruption caused by a large-scale disaster, would be effective in continuing the name resolution service even in a logical disruption caused by a cyber attack.
